David has a background in analysis, accounting and finance. He started his career at PwC with time spent in their due diligence and financial modelling teams. Here he was responsible for analysis leading into large multinational M&A transactions, and consulting projects improving the way that companies manage their forecasting and reporting.
After a year in corporate finance for social housing and infrastructure clients he transitioned into the social enterprise sector, leading the fundraising efforts for StudentFunder, a start-up postgraduate loans company, and working in the investment team at Impetus PEF, the UK’s leading venture philanthropy organisation.
David holds an MA in Geography from Oxford, is a chartered accountant through the ICAEW and has a diploma in Securities and a diploma in Derivatives from the CISI.
