Francesca Spoerry

Her Superpower: She understands what is happening globally in the impact investment space and is alleviating the blockers to the market’s growth.

Francesca has experience in various aspects of impact investment: including due diligence, new initiatives, and project management. She started her career at Morgan Stanley working in risk operations and account management. She then went onto pursue an MBA with a focus on sustainability at before working for a greentech accelerator. Through On Purpose London she worked in a due diligence role at Big Society Capital, and in a research role at Advisory and firm SystemIQ. Since 2017 she has been working at the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment and is responsible for knowledge management activities. She holds a BA in Psychology, Philosophy and Business from Durham University, and an MBA from Copenhagen Business School.

Gerard Grattan (Gerry)

His superpower: Strengthening an organisation’s ability to deliver the basics while generating space and energy for rapid improvement and innovation.

Gerry brings expertise in strategy development, continuous improvement, change management and digital transformation. Over the course of 18 years he led improvement and transformation programmes for Royal Dutch Shell around the globe in areas such as operations, finance, logistics, IT and JV management. He brings a people-centric, empathy-driven, co-creative and non-directive coaching approach to the value he delivers. Gerry has supplemented this core experience with social impact work as a circular economy innovation associate with Interface and product roadmap advisor to Tech4Good startup Lightful. More recently, Gerry has co-founded a CIC looking at ways to mobilise the next generation of animal protectors through fun digital experiences. Gerry is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Scrum Master and is a Fellow of the On Purpose leadership programme.

Tania Han

Tania is a strategy and management consultant with over 15 years of experience in the corporate, public, civil society and startup sectors, where she co-designs solutions to improve organisational effectiveness and leadership capability. Her journey has taken her to Australia, the UK, India and New Zealand, which equips her with a deep awareness of identity, culture and inclusion.

More recently, Tania has been working with social enterprises and third sector organisations on improving impact management practice, and with social businesses scaling their growth through crowdfunding and other non-conventional channels. Over the years, Tania has also advocated for climate action, youth social mobility and place-based community building projects. Tania brings a collaborative, people-centric and systems thinking approach to her work.

Georgina Bremridge

Georgina started her career as a commercial lawyer for eight years specialising in international infrastructure projects advising governments, funders and multinationals. More recently, Georgina was COO at a national charity tackling food waste and social isolation. There, she worked on board-level strategic review, drove enhanced data capture for social impact evaluation and managed and coached her team through a period of change.

Georgina’s writing and editing experience includes research projects for the world’s first social investment bank, Big Society Capital, and drafting guidance resources for the UK’s Department for Education. Georgina has worked in Europe, Middle East, South America and Indonesia. She is a qualified professional coach, has an MA in French & Linguistics from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the On Purpose leadership programme.

Seigo Robinson

His superpower: Solving tough challenges by questioning assumptions to uncover new information and develop deep insights.

Seigo has worked as a strategy consultant in London, New York and the Middle East across various sectors including energy, industrials and healthcare. His work has ranged from performing a feasibility study of a sovereign wealth fund for a sub-Saharan nation through to scaling a UK charity aiming to leave no older person alone on Christmas day.  More recently, he headed up the Circular Economy division of a sustainability research and consulting firm helping clients to mainstream circular economy principles. Seigo is particularly fascinated by combining these principles with social enterprise and has been awarded a Churchill Fellowship to pursue research in this area. More widely, he is chair of Freightliners Farm, a school governor and has been runner-up in a UK entrepreneurship competition.

Seigo has a MEng in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University.

Anna Patton

Anna has over nine years’ experience helping social organisations to communicate messages and partner with others. A versatile communicator and project manager, she has particular expertise in the international development, social enterprise and youth sectors.

Her business development and partnerships experience includes managing and writing bids for EU-funded contracts and creating a toolkit for the British Council’s global partnerships team. A published journalist, Anna also has extensive experience in editing and copywriting for charities and government/institutional bodies.
Anna has worked in several countries in Europe and East Africa. She has a BA in Modern Languages and an MA in European Studies, and is a Fellow of the On Purpose leadership programme.

Chris Blues

Chris has a background in consulting and finance, having worked at Ernst & Young on a range of projects across the financial services sector. He initially specialised in providing performance improvement, assurance and anti-money laundering services. He is passionate and committed to social issues, both in the UK and globally. He has worked with foundations, social investors and social enterprises such as Esmee Fairbairn, FutureLearn and Little Big Africa. He is an expert in social impact measurement, scaling organisations to increase impact, business development strategy and facilitation.

Chris has a BSc in Geography from the University of Bristol and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAS).

Abi Childs

Abi has extensive leadership and project management experience in both private and third sector organisations. She began her career in private equity and real estate investment and worked internationally in Switzerland and the Middle East.  During her On Purpose year she worked in the Strategy Team of the National Citizen Service and focused on measuring their social impact.  Most recently she has been working with NEL Healthcare Consulting where she has provided programme management to the London Health Commission and led on various strategic mental health projects including a transformational change project in East London, several innovative outcomes based commissioning projects and a national analysis of the state of CAMHS transformation.  She holds a Masters in Medical Ethics and Law and is an On Purpose Fellow.

Rahul Agarwal

Rahul has over six years of management consulting experience in public and third sectors. He started his career in Advisory at EY where he worked on a diverse mixture of performance improvement projects for Central Government, the NHS and Local Public sector including a County Council and the Metropolitan Police. He then went to pursue a career in the social sector by joining On Purpose. Here he lead on multiple local and national delivery improvement and transformational innovation projects for the NHS and also developed a partnering handbook delivering a more consistent and innovative partnership approach at the British Council. Rahul has also worked for a think tank and briefly for an MP in Parliament. He holds an MSc in Global Politics from LSE and is PRINCE2 practitioner and CIMA foundation qualified.
