The Madeira Impact Collective is a dynamic initiative designed to support and grow impact entrepreneurship in Madeira. Our goal is to create an inclusive ecosystem where local communities and participants from all over the world — locals, digital nomads, expats — can collaborate and innovate for social and environmental change. By fostering connections, sharing knowledge, and providing mentorship, we aim to empower changemakers to drive meaningful impact in both the local and global context.
1st Program Edition
We unite passionate changemakers from Madeira and around the world to design and implement transformative solutions in sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and community — empowering the island to overcome its most pressing challenges and build a brighter, more sustainable future.

1. Open Call for Participants 📣
Launch of an open call to attract passionate and committed individuals (locals, digital nomads, expats, etc.) ready to co-create solutions that help Madeira become a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient island.
2. Participant Selection ✅
We will select candidates looking to develop a project in sustainability, tech, tourism, entrepreneurship, or community building. These participants are selected based on their alignment with the program’s goals.
3. Co-Creation Workshops 🤝
Participants and the Madeira Impact Collective team work side-by-side in structured workshops to design innovative, context-specific solutions to the challenges identified.
4. Cultural Exchange Activities 🎭
Throughout the project, we will be running social events and cultural activities to strengthen cross-cultural understanding and trust.
5. Training & Capacity Building 🚀
Participants receive hands-on training in collaboration frameworks and tools to help scale solutions beyond the program.
6. Pilot Projects 🌱
The strongest ideas are implemented as small-scale pilot projects. These are designed to be replicable and sustainable, with community involvement throughout.
7. Closing 🎉
We will conclude the program with a final event to showcase outcomes, celebrate participants, and strengthen local and international connections. It will include follow-up plans for supporting pilot projects, sharing results, and sustaining impact through partner networks.
